Dieter Buntzen

Dieter Buntzen is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product development and software engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer at Sequel since January 2023, Dieter was instrumental as the first engineering hire, leading the design and development of an updated referral engine. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Product Engineer at GetMyBoat, where contributions included representation of the frontend team in a special SEO initiative and transitioning the code base to Typescript, and as Product Engineer at Stresscoach, where Dieter played a critical role in UX and product development efforts until the company's acquisition. Other notable roles include leading major projects as the first frontend hire at SweepSouth and holding earlier positions in design, administration, sales, account management, and copywriting. Dieter holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Rhodes University.
