Angela Behland has a diverse range of work experience in the field of counseling and mental health. Angela started their career as an intern at WALSH Trust, where they gained exposure to various therapy sessions and conducted research on a supported employment program. Angela also worked as a research assistant at Boston University, participating in a study on factors affecting the health outcomes of HIV+ women. Angela later worked as a phone counselor at Parents Helping Parents of Massachusetts, providing emotional support to stressed parents. Angela then served as an admissions counselor at Palo Alto University before joining StarVista as a relief residential counselor, where they provided crisis intervention services and residential care for youth.
