Xavi Pola

Xavi Pola is an experienced MLOps Engineer currently working at SeQura since September 2024. Previously, Xavi held the position of Machine Learning Platform Engineer at Nextail from May 2021 to September 2023, focusing on building a Data Science Platform utilizing Databricks and MLFlow. Xavi's background includes roles as a Data Engineer at BitPhy and as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer at Plyzer Technologies, where the transformation of a monolithic AI product into a flexible serverless event-driven pipeline was achieved. Xavi also served as a Data Scientist and later as Head of Content Data at Ofertia from 2011 to 2019, developing projects that optimized notifications and leading data-driven initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Licenciado en Periodismo from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
