David Bays is a Senior Scientist at seqWell with a background in molecular biology and bioinformatics. David has experience in developing and optimizing molecular assays, conducting NGS data analysis, and qPCR. Their previous roles include positions at QIAGEN and Enzymatics, where David worked on research and development of molecular applications and supervised molecular biology kitting operations. David also worked as a Research Technician at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, focusing on DNA extraction for qPCR analysis. Their education includes a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics from Harvard Extension School and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
