Zac Zwirko

Zac Zwirko has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Zac is currently working as a Senior Scientist at seqWell, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Research Scientist II at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from September 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining the Broad Institute, Zac worked as a Manager at Blue Pond Farms LLC from January 2021 to September 2022. Zac also has experience as a Staff Scientist at Twist Bioscience from October 2019 to November 2020 and as a Senior Scientist at Trace Genomics from November 2018 to August 2019.

Zac's earlier work includes roles such as Staff Scientist-NGS at Integrated DNA Technologies from June 2015 to November 2018, Scientist II at Novartis from July 2013 to June 2015, and Scientist at Foundation Medicine from 2010 to 2013. Zac started their career as a Senior Technical Research Assistant at Partners Center for Personalized Genetic Medicine from 2009 to 2010.

Zac's first job in the field was as a Senior Process Dev Associate at the Broad Institute, where they worked from January 2006 to September 2009.

Zac Zwirko attended the University of Massachusetts Boston Honors College from 2000 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree with a focus on Genome Sciences/Genomics.
