Maureen Cueppers

Maureen Cueppers has a diverse work experience spanning over several fields and industries. Maureen began their career as an Administrative Assistant at the Washington County Sheriff's Office from 1995 to 1997, where they provided support to Sheriff Jim Spinden and worked on a file restructuring project. Following this, they worked as a Restaurant Manager at McGrath's from 1998 to 1999.

In 2000, Maureen joined Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft e.V as an Intern for the "Amerika-Programme" where they coordinated an internship program for Americans interested in working in Germany. Their responsibilities included processing inquiries, conducting interviews, and arranging internships. Maureen also organized and facilitated orientation seminars for program participants.

From 2001 to 2001, Maureen worked as an Editorial Intern for Academic Publications at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies. During this time, they edited contracted book-length materials, book reviews, and articles for the academic journal 'Holocaust and Genocide Studies'. Maureen also supported the editorial board in publication planning and production.

In 2002, Maureen joined Simon-Kucher & Partners as an English Communications Editor/Translator. Their role involved editing and translating content related to acquisitions, customer projects, PR, and corporate communications in the areas of strategy, marketing, pricing, and sales. Maureen also served as the Editor-in-chief of the company's global employee magazine, taking charge of the editorial calendar, magazine creation, layout, editing, and production.

Maureen's most recent role was at SER Group, where they held multiple positions. Maureen started as a Writer (EN) and Content Manager, Marketing from 2016 to 2021, responsible for creating and managing marketing content. Later, from 2021 to 2023, they served as the Deputy Head of Marketing, focusing on content strategy, messaging, localization, and production in alignment with senior executives and the global marketing team. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Content & Communications at SER Group.

Maureen Cueppers graduated from the University of Oregon in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their studies focused on History, German, and Political Science.
