Yuta Uemura

Yuta Uemura has a diverse work experience in the field of laboratory systems engineering and medical technology. Yuta worked as a Supervisor of Lab Systems Engineering at Sera Prognostics starting from July 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Instrument Control Engineer and Safety Officer at the same company since April 2015. Before joining Sera Prognostics, Yuta worked at the Utah Public Health Laboratory as a Forensic Toxicologist from August 2012 to April 2015. Yuta began their career at ARUP Laboratories as a Senior Medical Technologist in April 2006 and worked there until August 2012.

Yuta Uemura completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Technology at the University of Utah from 2002 to 2006. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) and Qualification in Laboratory Safety (QLS) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
