Matthew Wood

Matthew Wood has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Matthew'sfirst job was as a Manufacturer for Richard Losch Inc., where they started in a facilities maintenance position and eventually became a full-time member of the team. In 2010, they became a Volunteer Firefighter/Paramedic for the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District, where they acquired certifications and training in Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and more. In 2012, they took on the role of Technician at St. Charles Health System, where they gained experience in the delivery of care to patients and interpersonal communication. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Lonza as a Shift Leader and Senior Operator, where they were responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high quality product. Since 2019, they have been employed at Serán BioScience as an Operations Specialist and Operations Specialist II.

Matthew Wood has an education history that includes an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Central Oregon Community College (2010-2014), an Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Services from Central Oregon Community College (2010-2014), and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Structural Fire Science from Central Oregon Community College (2010-2014). Matthew also has several certifications from the Biopharma Institute, including a Certificate of Completion for Validation Computer Systems (Part 1 & 2), Validation of Equipment Cleaning Validation, Pharmaceutical Validation Management, Validation: Operational/Performance Qualification Protocols, Validation: Commissioning and Installation Qualification, Validation: Master Plans and Documentation, and Validation: Principals/International Regulations.
