Shannon Tautges

Shannon Tautges has a diverse work experience in the scientific and healthcare industries. Shannon began their career as a Microbiologist at National Frozen Foods in 2008, where they performed bacterial procedures on vegetables and maintained laboratory equipment. In 2009, they joined St. Charles Health System as a Medical Lab Assistant/Specimen Processor, assisting in various technical areas of the laboratory and maintaining equipment and supplies. In 2011, Shannon transitioned to Bend Research, a division of Capsugel, where they worked as a Laboratory Analyst, reviewing and approving analytical data, training new employees, and performing GMP stability testing. Shannon was later promoted to QC Laboratory Supervisor, overseeing the review and approval of analytical data, managing project-specific analytic materials, and managing employee training. In 2015, Shannon joined PPD as a Group Leader, Analytical Method Development & Validation, where they provided oversight and supervision of staff and resources for GMP pharmaceutical development studies. Shannon was responsible for preparing study protocols and various reports, serving as a point of contact for clients, and drafting and approving laboratory investigations. In 2019, Shannon was promoted to Senior Group Leader, Analytical Method Development & Validation, before leaving the company in the same year. Most recently, Shannon joined Serán Bioscience in 2021 as a Project Manager, and later advanced to the role of Senior Project Manager in 2022.

Shannon Tautges completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology from Oregon State University between 2004 and 2008.
