Charles Sykora

Charles Sykora is an experienced Unmanned Vehicle System Engineer at Serco, specializing in system engineering for various unmanned surface vehicles. Previously, Sykora held leadership roles including Program Manager and Team Lead for the Snakehead project, managing engineering support and documentation for advanced underwater systems. Prior to joining Serco, Sykora served as Division Manager for Fleet Support at Alion Science and Technology, focusing on operational test support for the VIRGINIA Class and OHIO Replacement submarines. Sykora’s extensive background includes teaching at the Joint Forces Staff College, numerous naval leadership positions, and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
