Dr. Timothy McGee

Dr. Timothy McGee, DCS, is a seasoned data scientist and academic with extensive experience in cybersecurity and data science. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Serco and maintaining adjunct faculty positions at Prince George's Community College and the University of the Cumberlands, Dr. McGee instructs courses including Data Science Programming with Python and Business Intelligence. Prior to these roles, Dr. McGee was a Senior Data Scientist for the US Army and an Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where research focused on smart home security and Internet of Things vulnerabilities. A former CEO of Third Wave Defense, Dr. McGee has held various leadership positions in the US Army, including roles in defensive cyberspace operations and communication support. Dr. McGee holds multiple degrees, including a Doctorate in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University and a Master's in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
