Ruth McGowan

Ruth McGowan (née Catallo) has extensive work experience in various strategic and growth roles. Ruth is currently serving as the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer at Serco. Prior to this, Ruth worked at McTallo as part of a Commercial, Growth, and Strategic Consultancy team. Ruth also held the position of Chief Growth Officer at Elvie, a women's health and wellness company operating globally. Before that, they worked at Costa Coffee as the GM for FMCG Business Unit and Strategy & Transformation Director. Ruth also has experience in Tesco PLC, serving as a Start-up CEO and Senior Strategy Manager. Ruth has worked as a Strategy Manager at Waitrose and as an Investment Manager in Private Equity at AURIGO MANAGEMENT PARTNERS LLP. Ruth began their career as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where they gained experience in managing large-scale change programs and collaborating with senior stakeholders across various industries.

Ruth McGowan (née Catallo) obtained their MEng degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2005. Additionally, they pursued a year of study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2003-2004, earning another MEng degree in Engineering.
