Daniel Medeiros Lima is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in cardiovascular pharmacology and preventive medicine. Currently serving as a Professor de Pós Graduação at IPEMED Afya and a Pesquisador Colaborador at UFRJ’s Laboratório de Farmacologia Cardiovascular, Daniel focuses on metabolic marker alterations induced by lifestyle changes and their impact on coronary patients. With extensive teaching experience at various institutions, including Faculdade de Medicina de Campos and UniRedentor, Daniel has contributed significantly to courses in physiology and pharmacology. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Science and a Master's degree related to nitric oxide availability and oxidative stress following exercise, along with a background in occupational health and rehabilitation. Additionally, Daniel has served as a scientific consultant for Serena and engaged in research on doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity and ergonomic solutions in the workplace.
