Anton-Louis Olivier

Anton-Louis Olivier is an accomplished leader in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in hydropower. As the Chairman of the Board and Vice President at the International Hydropower Association since October 2019, Anton-Louis also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Serengeti Energy from October 2023. Other current positions include Non-Executive Director roles at Fairtree and Gaia Fund 1 since 2021. Previously, Anton-Louis held the role of Head Hydropower Africa at Scatec ASA, was the CEO and founder of Renewable Energy Holdings (Pty) Ltd, and founded NuPlanet BV in The Netherlands. Anton-Louis's early career includes positions as Project Manager at the UN Environment Programme Collaborating Centre and a Consultant in the renewable energy sector. Anton-Louis holds a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
