Duane Zappitelli

Duane Zappitelli has over 20 years of experience in the Investment and Insurance Industry. Duane served as the Vice President of Sales and Distribution at Serenia Life Financial since January 2019. Prior to that, from November to December 2018, Duane worked as an Experienced Distribution Leader in the Insurance Industry, where they demonstrated their ability to build successful teams and improve results. Duane also held various leadership positions at Sun Life Financial from 1998 to 2018, including AVP of Distribution Strategy Development/Sales Force Growth, Regional Vice President, and Senior Associate Manager. In these roles, Duane exceeded sales and net gain targets and managed large teams of advisors and staff. Duane also worked as a Financial Advisor, prospecting and providing financial services to clients to achieve lifetime financial security.

Duane Zappitelli attended the University of Waterloo from 1994 to 1998. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) degree with a focus on Geographic Information Systems - Business Option.
