Marco Scoppetta

Marco Scoppetta is a seasoned software engineer with a robust background in backend engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Serenis since September 2024, Marco previously held the position of Backend Engineering Lead at Qatalog from February 2020 to September 2024, where responsibilities included guiding engineering teams and projects. Prior to Qatalog, Marco contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at ComplyAdvantage, focusing on data ingestion and knowledge representation within the Knowledge Graph team. Marco's experience also includes roles at Grakn Labs, where involvement in the development of a distributed database and knowledge graph took place, and at O.M.I.S srl, where a large-scale web-based ERP application was designed and implemented. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Engineering of Computing Systems from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field, complemented by a study period at Keio University.
