Gavin Nelson

Gavin Nelson has extensive experience in the engineering and energy sectors, currently serving as a Process Operator at Cenovus Energy since July 2019, where responsibilities include operating the Crude-Vac 1 and Sat Gas Units at the Toledo Refinery and ensuring safe operations. Previously, Gavin was an Emergency Response Technician within the same company and has a role as a Volunteer Fire Fighter with the City of Oregon since August 2018. Additionally, Gavin is a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Serenity Realty Homes since June 2022 and has experience as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Oregon Clay High School since November 2018. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Project Engineer at Mosser Construction, Inc. for the Cedar Point Sports Center project, and interning as a Design Engineer at Plastic Technologies, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University and The University of Toledo, along with a diploma from Oregon Clay High School.
