Abby Collins has extensive experience in administrative roles, currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at SERESC and the Southeastern Regional Education Service Center since November 2001, where responsibilities include administrative, marketing, and public relations functions for a non-profit educational service center. Prior to this, Abby co-founded and held the position of Executive Editor at Phat Art 4 Publishing from August 2000 to November 2001, focusing on book publishing, conferences, and speaking services. Abby was also the Executive Director of Potential Unlimited Publishing from July 1993 to August 2000, where initiatives included founding an autism support group and publishing books aimed at supporting families affected by autism. Earlier career roles include Executive Assistant at Wheelabrator Technologies and Assistant Supervisor at the Student Loan Marketing Association. Abby's educational background includes studies in English Language and Literature at Emmanuel College and a diploma from Hinsdale High School.

Founded in 1974, the Southeastern Regional Educational Service Center (SERESC) is a non-profit consortium of award-winning consultants and programs serving the largest student population in the state, either through direct services to the children or to the professionals who work with them.
