Rebecca Egan is a seasoned professional in program management and international partnerships, currently serving as Senior Program Manager at SeriousFun Children's Network. With extensive experience in capacity building, program and training design, and project management, Rebecca has held various roles within SeriousFun Children's Network since 2012, including Program Manager for Partner Programs and Assistant Director. Prior to this, experience includes serving as Tutoring and Volunteer Coordinator at Pathways to Education Canada, where oversight of a tutoring program for 200 youth was a key responsibility. Rebecca’s academic background features a Master's degree in Public Health from University College Cork and a Postgraduate degree in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in French and English. Additionally, a year spent at the University of Lausanne for an Erasmus programme underscores a strong commitment to education and inclusivity.

SeriousFun Children's Network, founded by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman, is a global community of 30 independently managed and financed camps and programs serving children with serious illnesses and their families – always free of charge. The purposefully designed programs foster independence, resilience and personal growth, helping children to see beyond the limits of their medical conditions and experience all that life has to offer. Since 1988, the Network has served more than 864,000 children and family members worldwide.
