Sélim Ourtani

Sélim Ourtani has extensive experience in the field of information security and technology. Sélim started their career as a Sales Engineer at Acronis, where they provided technical support and conducted product demonstrations. Sélim later worked as a Senior Sales Engineer and played a role in designing and implementing backup solutions for large enterprise networks. In 2013, Sélim joined Cyxtera Technologies as a Technical Cyber Security Sales Manager for Emea. Sélim then moved to Acronis again as a Territory Sales and Large Account Manager, focusing on developing account plans and increasing market share. Sélim also worked at Varonis as an External Consultant, managing system engineering responsibilities in the Benelux and Nordics regions. In 2015, they became a Belgian Cyber Security Ambassador for the Korea Internet & Security Agency. Sélim founded Sertalink in 2017, serving as the CEO and promoting niche and disruptive technologies in the cybersecurity industry. Sélim also worked as a Consultant for Business Development and General Manager in Benelux at Sertalink. In 2018, Sélim joined Fujitsu Global as a Sales Manager focusing on enterprise cybersecurity. Sélim then worked at Prodata Systems as an Enterprise Cyber Security Advisor, providing design and implementation solutions for critical IT environments. Sélim worked as the Chief Information Security Officer at ALVANCE Aluminium Group before joining Daoust in 2023 as their Chief Information Security Officer.

Sélim Ourtani attended Vlerick Business School from 2006 to 2008, studying Economics. Additionally, Sélim has obtained various certifications in fields such as IT security, cloud security, and network administration from institutions like Microsoft, Acronis, and Dell EMC.
