Alfonso Benavides

Alfonso Benavides has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as a Médico especialista at Servei de Salut de les Illes Balears since June 2020. Prior to this role, Alfonso was a Médico especialista en Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria at Juaneda from July 2017 to June 2020, focusing on hospital and emergency care. Alfonso also completed the MIR Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria at Servei de Salut de les Illes Balears from May 2013 to May 2017, where responsibilities included primary care and hospital emergencies. Earlier experience includes work in preventive medicine at Complejo Hospitalario San Pablo and clinical research at CHEST investigación. Alfonso began a medical career in primary care with the Marina de Guerra del Peru in 1996. Education includes a Médico-Cirujano degree from Universidad de San Martín de Porres and specialization in Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria from Ibsalud.
