Ryan Henderson

Ryan Henderson, PHR has over 16 years of work experience. Ryan started their career at Service Access & Management, Inc. in 2005 and held various roles during their tenure. Ryan served as the Deputy Director of People Operations since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Labor & Employee Relations from September 2020 to September 2022, where they led contract negotiations, coordinated labor management functions, and provided interpretation of employment law and labor agreements. From August 2015 to September 2020, Ryan was the Director of Human Resources, responsible for overseeing all HR functions within their operation and managing a team of HR professionals. Before that, they worked as a Labor Relations Manager from July 2009 to August 2015, where they handled progressive discipline, grievance management, recruitment strategies, and employee safety activities. Ryan started their career as an IDD Supports Coordinator at Service Access & Management, Inc. in October 2005 and provided case management services to individuals with MH/DD diagnoses, ensuring compliance with regulations and resolving any issues.

In addition to their work at Service Access & Management, Inc., Ryan also worked as a Shop Steward/Negotiator at SEIU from January 2006 to July 2009. In this role, they successfully negotiated multiple labor agreements, provided representation and consultation to union members, and mediated labor disputes.

Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in people operations, labor and employee relations, HR management, and negotiation. Ryan has a strong track record of maintaining a supportive environment for employees and implementing collaborative initiatives.

Ryan Henderson, PHR, received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Crime, Law & Justice from Penn State University, where they attended from 2000 to 2005. In 2016, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI.
