Gerry D. Heard

Gerry Heard was named Vice President of Sales in 2018. He began his career at SCI as a high school intern at a Company funeral home, where he continued to work while attending the University of Houston. In 1986, he joined the sales force as a Family Service Counselor and was promoted to the role of Sales Manager in 1989. Throughout his years with SCI, Mr. Heard was appointed to numerous leadership roles, including Area Sales Director; Senior Vice President of Sales, Houston and Gulf Regions; Managing Director of Sales for Middle Markets; Managing Director of North America Sales; and Senior Managing Director, Major Market Sales.
