Phil Wilburn

Phil Wilburn has extensive experience in management and sales across various industries, currently serving as the Cemetery General Manager at Service Corporation International since December 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing cemetery operations and enhancing financial performance. Previously, as a Sales Manager for the Louisville Market, Phil led recruitment and training for a team of Pre-Planning Advisors across eight local funeral homes. An entrepreneur, Phil was the owner of Hero Specialties, a supplier of military pride items, and held a position as a Direct Sales Representative/Peer Mentor at Time Warner Cable. In the US Army, Phil served for over two decades, culminating as Brigade Master Gunner, where training and advising on live-fire gunnery were key responsibilities. This role included teaching and certifying instructors in the Australian Army as an Exchange Instructor. Early career experience includes a leadership role as a Shift Leader at Plastene Supply Company. Phil's educational background includes studies at Central Texas College and Kennett High School.
