Zachary Maltbia

Zachary Maltbia is an IT Specialist currently working as a Field Support Engineer for Service Corporation International since January 2022. In this role, Zachary travels across the USA and Canada to oversee cable installations, provide customer technical support, and train both customers and coworkers on new Cisco Meraki equipment and VoIP phones. Prior to this position, Zachary was a Pre Kindergarten Teacher at Houston ISD from January 2015 to June 2022, focusing on data-driven instructional practices and student performance assessment. Zachary's earlier experiences include roles as a Student Teacher, Substitute Teacher at The Center for Hearing and Speech, and Document Clerk at Village Family Practice, where responsibilities ranged from lesson planning to managing medical records during a digital transition. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston, earned in 2016.
