Joshua Ferris

Joshua Ferris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance and technology within labor organizations. Currently serving as a Governance Strategist at SEIU since January 2013, Joshua has held various roles including Senior Systems Coordinator and Senior Program Manager for Technology Strength, where responsibilities have encompassed analyzing governance issues, supporting local union modernization, and fostering technological innovation. Prior experience includes roles at Fight for Philly as Market Data Coordinator, Research Assistant positions at Carnegie Mellon University, and Technology Director at SEIU District 1199P, where Joshua established the first IT department. Joshua holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an Executive Certificate in Organizational Consulting & Change Leadership from Georgetown University.
