Tonya L. McCray

Tonya L. McCray, MS, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Director of Accounting at SEIU since October 2015. Prior to this role, Tonya held the position of Director of Finance and Administration at Alexandria Transit Company/DASH from June 2013 to October 2015 and served as Controller/Assistant Director of Finance at the American Geophysical Union from April 2008 to June 2013. Tonya has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College and managed Accounting Services at the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. In the earlier stages of a career, Tonya worked as a Compliance Auditor/Financial Analyst at Bert Smith & Co. Tonya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Howard University and a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
