Ralf Meisenzahl

Ralf Meisenzahl is a Senior Economist and Economic Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since August 2019, where Ralf also leads the Insurance Initiative. In addition to this role, Ralf serves as Co Editor Chief for Explorations in Economic History and as Adjunct Faculty at Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Ralf is affiliated with Northwestern University's Center for Economic History and has held the position of Acting Chief Financial Officer at Service Robotics & Technologies since June 2019. Previously, Ralf was a Principal Economist at the Federal Reserve Board from 2010 to July 2019 and has experience as a Lecturer at Northwestern University. Ralf holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University and a Diplom in Economics from the University of Mannheim.
