Ambassador at Service to School

Alexander Read currently serves as a Judge Advocate for the Maine Army National Guard and an Associate Attorney at Verrill. With extensive military experience, Alexander has held various roles in the United States Marine Corps, including Logistics Officer and Maintenance Management Officer, where responsibilities involved integrating logistics into operations and overseeing significant gear management. Alexander's legal training includes serving as a law student at the University of Maine School of Law and participating as a Summer Associate at Rudman Winchell. Additionally, Alexander has held positions as an Ambassador for Service to School and Operations Manager at Advanced Infrastructure Technologies. Alexander obtained a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Maine School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago, with also studying law at the University of Chicago Law School.

Service to School is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to prepare transitioning military veterans for their next chapter of leadership by helping them gain admission to the best college or graduate school possible. S2S was founded by veterans and is led by veterans who are committed to transforming the veteran community through the power of higher education. Service to School empowers veterans to take control of their education by helping them throughout the entire application process.
