Paul Smith

Paul Smith is the current Chief Commercial Officer at ServiceNow. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Paul was with Salesforce for eight years, where they most recently served as EVP and UK GM. In this role, Paul was responsible for building digital strategy with the BBC. Paul also led the Microsoft/BBC partnership around iPlayer and Digital Curriculum.

Before their time at Salesforce, Paul spent three years at Microsoft as Head of Media and Entertainment for Western Europe. In this role, they were responsible for sales and marketing strategy for Microsoft's relationships with broadcasters in the UK and EMEA.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Paul was with Yospace as Business Development Director. At Yospace, they were responsible for sales, channel, and business development strategy for an early stage software start-up in the mobile sector. Yospace subsequently sold to EMAP Plc for $30M.

Paul has also held positions at Morse Group and Techlightenment. Paul is a Territory Manager Proctor and Gamble and Managing Director at Techlightenment. Paul was also CEO at Umee from 2006 to 2009.

Paul Smith studied geography at the University of Plymouth, with a focus on climate change.

Paul Smith reports to Bill McDermott, CEO. Ulrik Nehammer - President, EMEA, Mike Rich - President, Americas report to Paul Smith. Paul Smith works with Lara Caimi - Chief Customer & Partner Officer, Chirantan Desai - Chief Product & Engineering Officer, and Russ Elmer - General Counsel.
