Michelle Walton has over 20 years of work experience. Michelle began their career in 1995 as a Shipping Receiving Manager at R.L. Schmitt Company, Inc. In 1999, they moved to Michigan Microcomp, Inc. as an Administrator. Michelle then joined Testron Inc. in 2001 as an Electrical Assembler, where they built cables and connectors using various hand tools, pulled wire, stripped, pinned and crimped wires, and soldered wires to connectors according to print specs. In 2004, they took a break from the workforce to care for a family member. In 2016, they rejoined the workforce as an Accountant at AFS Taxsavers Inc. and in 2018 they took on the role of Lead Associate at Services To Enhance Potential.

Michelle Walton has a diverse educational background. Michelle attended Henry Ford College from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Bookkeeper Certificate in Accounting. Michelle also attended Schoolcraft College from 1992 to 2012, earning credits in Mathematics, Science, and Social Media. Additionally, they attended Henry Ford College from 1992 to 1993, earning credits in Electricity. In 2015, they obtained six Master Certifications from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, in Internal Controls and Fraud Prevention, Payroll, Inventory, Correction of Accounting Errors, Depreciation, and Adjusting Entries.
