Ton Oosterwijk

Ton Oosterwijk has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ton began their career at the Ministry of Defense as a teacher for the Ground Forces. After that, they joined FEL TNO as a Researcher, specializing in micro and millimeter-wave antennas and components, as well as electronic warfare and countermeasures. Subsequently, Ton worked at Koning & Hartman, initially as a Business Development Manager and later as a Product Manager Telecom. Finally, they joined ServiceTec Airport Services International where they held the position of Business Development Director, responsible for the business development of a leading ICT Managed Services Company focusing on the aviation industry.

Ton Oosterwijk's education history is as follows:

Ton Oosterwijk attended PBNA Telecommunication and Data Transmission from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a degree in Block 2 with a field of study in Telecommunication and Data Transmission. In 1976 to 1978, they attended MTS Hoogeveen and obtained a Specialist in Telecommunication and Radar Technology in the field of Electronica. Then, in 1979 to 1980, Ton Oosterwijk attended MTS Dordrecht and obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Ton Oosterwijk completed the certification course 'Financials for non-financial managers' at de Baak in March 1997.

In recent years, Ton Oosterwijk has pursued several certifications related to information security and data protection. Ton completed various certification courses through talentlms, including 'The Risks of Ransomware', 'Information Security', 'The Danger of Viruses and Malware', 'GDPR' (General Data Protection Regulation), and 'Staying Safe Online: Top Tips for Everyone'. Additionally, Ton Oosterwijk completed the 'GDPR: Email Misuse Staff Awareness Training' course at IT Governance in 2020 and the 'Human Patch: Social Media' and 'General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018' courses at IT Governance in the same year.
