Brett Carlson

Brett Carlson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brett is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of ServiceUp since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Swim.it from 2015 to 2020, where they held multiple roles including Advisor and Chief Business Officer. At Swim.it, they focused on technology innovation, intelligent edge software platforms, and real-time edge analytics. Before Swim.it, Brett worked at Cloudera from 2013 to 2016, where they specialized in sales and data management systems. In 2011, they co-founded Betyah Inc. and managed Operations & Finance, as well as the Sales & Partnership teams. Brett successfully raised two financing rounds for the company. From 2009 to 2012, Brett founded and operated Independent Brokers Inc., where they led all operational capacities and secured capital funding through financing rounds. Prior to these ventures, they held roles at Gartner as a Sales Director, Western US from 2006 to 2010, and at Oracle in sales from 2003 to 2006. Brett began their career at Resonate Software in 1999, where they focused on international sales. In addition to their professional work, Brett authored "COWBOY NOW" while working at Cowboy Now in 2002.

Brett Carlson attended Los Gatos High School but their start and end years are unknown. Brett then enrolled in Southern Utah University from 1994 to 1998, without completing a specific degree or field of study.
