Claudio Sances Olivares

Claudio Sances Olivares is an experienced professional in the field of meeting tourism, currently serving as the National Responsible for Meeting Tourism at Servicio Nacional de Turismo (SERNATUR) since May 2017. Prior to this role, Claudio worked at Turismo Chile from September 2001 to May 2017, where responsibilities included serving as the Head of Meeting Tourism and Project Manager for the Chile Convention Bureau. In these positions, Claudio was the main contact for national associations to promote Chile as a venue for international congresses and led the development, management, and execution of various promotional projects and events, including participation in significant fairs such as IMEX, EIBTM, LACIME, and FIEXPO.
