Veronica Saldana

Veronica Saldana, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Veronica most recently worked as the Human Resources Director at Servicios de La Raza starting in November 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Business Partner at RK from May 2021 to December 2023, where they conducted meetings with business units, provided HR guidance, and resolved employee relations issues.

Before their role at RK, Veronica worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Children's Hospital Colorado from September 2015 to May 2021. In this position, they provided advice and counsel to employees and managers, investigated and resolved complaints, and ensured legal compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Veronica also has experience as a Human Resources Consultant at Diversified Human Resources from March 2014 to March 2015. Their responsibilities included providing account management services for over 50 companies and offering HR expertise and solutions.

Veronica's early career included a role as a Human Resources Specialist at Verizon from November 1998 to March 2006. In this position, they handled benefits, payroll, and tax operations, served as a liaison between customers and internal departments, and educated managers on hiring policies and procedures.

Veronica Saldana, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad Regiomontana S.C. Veronica obtained their first SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification in September 2019 and a second certification in November 2022. In 2019, they also obtained a certification in Effective Listening from LinkedIn.
