Hong Yan

Hong Yan has work experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Senior Principal Biostatistician at Servier Pharmaceuticals since October 2023, and previously as a Principal Biostatistician from April 2022 to September 2023. Prior to that, Hong Yan worked as a Senior Biostatistician at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. from March 2020 to April 2022. Hong Yan also has experience as a Senior Statistician at GE Healthcare from February 2019 to March 2020, and as a Pharmacological and Statistical Modeling Intern/Post-doc at AstraZeneca from May 2018 to February 2019.

Hong Yan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which was completed in 2018. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution in 2017. Before attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Hong Yan earned two Bachelor's degrees, one in Finance and the other in Mathematics, from Wuhan University in 2012. Additionally, they completed the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Phd and Postdoctoral Fellow Leadership Workshop in December 2016.
