Matthew Medeiros

Matthew Medeiros is an accomplished professional in the field of synthetic organic chemistry with extensive experience across multiple prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Director at Servier Pharmaceuticals since April 2021, Matthew Medeiros previously held roles at Agios Pharmaceuticals from April 2015 to April 2021, where advancements were made as Principal Scientist/Associate Director. Prior experience includes positions as Staff Scientist 1 at Genzyme (September 2013 - March 2015) and Research Scientist at OSI Pharmaceuticals, LLC (June 2011 - May 2013), where a novel synthetic route for preclinical lead compounds was designed and implemented. A Postdoctoral Associate at the Chemical Methodology and Library Development Center at Boston University (November 2009 - June 2011) involved developing synthetic approaches to unique chemical skeletons.
