Dawid Walas currently serves as the Head of Functional Genomics and Proteomics at Servier since March 2023 and also holds the position of Guest Lecturer in Translational Medicine at Glasgow Caledonian University since December 2021. Prior to these roles, Dawid worked at Merck Group from September 2017 to May 2023, where responsibilities included Director of Rapid Molecular Technologies and Global Head of Omics R&D. Previous experience includes positions at The University of Glasgow as a Research Associate, and at the University of Bristol as a PhD Student and Postgraduate Researcher. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Clinical Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester, a Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Science from the University of Bristol, and an Msci in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow.
