Sue Schaffner

Sue Schaffner is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in financial management and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Serving Seniors since April 2018, Sue oversees financial operations for a prominent organization focused on aiding impoverished older adults. As a Non Profit Executive Coach at Fieldstone Leadership Network, Sue mentors executives and facilitates leadership development workshops. Previous roles include Regional Vice President and Executive Director for Hostelling International USA, Executive Director for the San Diego Council, Managing Director at North Coast Repertory Theatre, Controller for Vietnam Veterans of San Diego, and Deputy Director of Finance at the San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council. Sue holds an Associate’s Degree in Theater Arts from UCLA and an M.B.A. in Information Systems from San Diego State University.
