Andrew Birkinshaw has over 30 years of experience in engineering roles, currently serving as Head of Engineering (IP&E) and Electronics Team Leader at Servomex since February 2015. Previously, Andrew worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at Eschmann Equipment, focusing on medical equipment design and manufacture. Prior experience includes multiple positions at Hamilton Jet in water jet propulsion systems, culminating as a Product Support Engineer, and a Hardware Manager role at Terrington Systems, specializing in data collection and analysis. Early career highlights include hardware engineering and consultancy roles at Concurrent Technologies Ltd and MASS Consultants Ltd, as well as serving as Design Team Leader at Marconi Defence Systems Ltd, concentrating on avionics and marine electronics development.
