Mike Trommetter has extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Mike began their career in 1987 at Electronetics Corporation as an Electronics Technician, where they assembled, tested, and tuned transmitters for military use. Mike also played a role in designing printed circuit boards and assisting with the design and fabrication of electro-mechanical systems for medical devices.

In 1992, Mike transitioned to MCI Corporation, where they initially worked as a Terminal Technician, level 1, responsible for installing new domestic and international business network connections. Mike later advanced to the role of Terminal Technician, level 2, where they resolved telecommunication alarms and troubleshooted network issues for residential and commercial customers.

After four years at MCI Corporation, Mike joined Caire Inc (Formerly AirSep) in 1995 as a Sustaining Engineer. In this position, they reviewed, approved, and implemented engineering changes for multiple product lines. Mike continuously improved product performance through design modifications and evaluated new components to cut costs. Mike was also responsible for resolving technical design, production, and service problems.

Finally, in 2017, Mike joined Servotronics, Inc. as a Quality Engineer. Their responsibilities include failure analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of corrective actions for defective products. Mike also serves as the project lead for completing PPAPs and they developed standardized procedures and forms for the PPAP process.

Mike Trommetter has an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Erie Community College. Mike also holds a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGBC), although the institution and date of attainment are not specified.
