Patrick Sawyer-Bennett

Patrick Sawyer-Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Patrick began their career in 2006 at Durrance Projects as an Engineering Tech. Patrick then worked for the City of Edmonton as a Transportation Tech from 2009 to 2012. In 2014, they joined Investopedia as a QA Project Lead and later became a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master. From 2016 to 2017, Patrick worked at Top Draw Inc as a Senior Project Manager. In 2018, they held the position of Digital Producer at ATB Financial before starting their own company, 2096592 ALBERTA INC., where they served as the Owner. Since 2018, Patrick has been with Servus Credit Union, initially as a Product Owner and then as a Scrum Master. Patrick later became the COE Leader - Scrum Masters and currently holds the position of Director DevOps.

Patrick Sawyer-Bennett holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from MacEwan University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Engineering Tech Diploma in Drafting/Design Engineering Technologies/Technicians from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) between 2004 and 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they achieved the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, the ICAgile Certified Professional - Agility in Marketing from ICAgile, the Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc., the Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org, and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification.
