Chris Hird MRICS serves as the Commercial Director for the Northern region at SES Engineering Services, leading a team to drive significant growth from £60m to over £200m. With extensive experience in commercial management, Chris previously held the role of Commercial Director at NG Bailey, where responsibilities included leading the commercial aspects of a £90m project for Balfour Beatty and the University of Manchester. Prior experience includes positions at Balfour Beatty, where Chris managed the commercial operations for a £25m project, and earlier roles at SES Engineering Services, overseeing various UK construction projects. Chris holds a BSc Hons in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying from The University of Manchester.
