Helen Carruthers

Helen Carruthers is an experienced insurance professional with a diverse background in product management and underwriting, currently providing support in retirement at SES Risk Solutions since August 2019. Prior to this, Helen served as Vice President and Product Manager at National General Insurance from August 2016 to May 2019, where responsibilities included leading product teams for mortgage and auto insurance products. Additionally, Helen held the position of Vice President of Underwriting at WNC First Insurance Services, overseeing underwriting and business analytics from January 2011 to August 2016. Earlier experience includes roles as Vice President of Collateral Protection Insurance at Balboa Insurance Group and Underwriting Manager at American Sterling. Helen holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from UC Irvine.
