James Hammond

James Hammond is an accomplished Senior Manager in Product Engineering and Operations Services with extensive experience at SES Satellites since December 2015. In the role of Senior Manager Product Engineering (Mobility), James leads engineering efforts for the Mobility portfolio, overseeing service architecture and operational support transition. As Senior Manager of Operations Services, James manages a diverse global team focusing on commissioning and support of VSAT solutions, while ensuring OPEX budget responsibilities and incident escalation. Prior experience includes key engineering and management roles at Harris CapRock Communications and Schlumberger, coupled with a technical background as a Customer Engineer at NCR Corporation. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University.
