Norma Zarrate

Norma Zarrate is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in asset provisioning within the satellite communications industry. Currently serving as Principal Engineer in Asset Provisioning at SES Satellites since July 2025, Zarrate previously held the same title at Intelsat from June 2015 to July 2025, where a career began as a Technical Support Engineer in 2002. Additionally, Zarrate served as Sr. Sales Engineering Manager at Eutelsat America Corp. from 2003 to April 2014, and managed operations at Telecom Colombia from 1993 to 2002. Zarrate holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Telecommunications from Universidad Antonio Nariño, alongside technical training in Digital Communications and Satcom.
