Sam Sutton is an accomplished Senior Space Systems Engineer with extensive experience in spacecraft engineering and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Space Systems Architecture at SES Space & Defense since October 2024, Sutton previously held multiple roles at SES Satellites, including Program Manager and Senior Manager, while also functioning as a Sr. Spacecraft Systems Engineer responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of the American SES satellite fleet. Prior experience includes working as a spacecraft consultant for the design and testing of GovSat-1 and serving as a Sr. Spacecraft System Engineer at Boeing for a decade. Sam Sutton holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Denver.
