Sandro Barros

Sandro Barros has extensive experience in the satellite communications industry, currently serving as Director of Global Aero Sales at SES Satellites since June 2017, focusing on commercializing a multi-orbit global aero network. Previous roles include Director of O3b mPOWER Global Commercial Development, where innovations in Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellite systems aimed to enhance network opportunities for under-served markets, and Regional Director for Brazil and the Southern Cone. Sandro's earlier career included positions such as General Director at O3b Networks, General Manager, Sales Director, and Sales Manager at Gilat Brasil, and roles in pre-sales and post-sales management at Telespazio Brazil. Additional experience encompasses engineering and operations roles at companies including DAMOS Sudamerica, GAP Communications Systems, EMBRATEL, and CETUC.
