Antonio Freitas

Antonio Freitas is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Educational Experiences at Sesame Workshop since August 2018, following a tenure as the Director of Educational Experiences and Senior Content Manager for the US Social Impact Team. In addition to this role, Antonio has been an Adjunct Professor in the Teacher Education Department at the Borough of Manhattan Community College since August 2017. Prior to these roles, Antonio held significant positions at The Children's Aid Society, serving as Deputy Director and previously as Early Childhood Education Director. With earlier experience as Associate Director of Recruitment at Uncommon Schools and a Teacher with Teach for America, Antonio has a robust background in education and social work, holding a Master's in Science of Teaching from Pace University and a Bachelor's in Social Work from Seattle University.
