Deborah Sheehan

Deborah Sheehan is a seasoned psychotherapist at Comprehensive Counseling LCSW's PLLC since September 2013 and serves as a children's media researcher at Sesame Workshop since January 2010. In this role, Deborah conducts qualitative audience research on culturally diverse elementary school children in New York City, evaluating their perceptions and understanding of various media. Responsibilities include data collection through observation and interviews, generating research reports, and collaborating on projects that enhance children's well-being. Deborah's previous experiences include roles as a mental health counselor, research intern, and research assistant, complemented by an M.A. and Ed.M. in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University.
